Estate Fencing

Our estate fencing, also known as parkland fencing, has a traditional style that reinstates and compliments the British countryside.
Blending and harmonizing with its natural surroundings creating a beautiful appearance and style that will last the test of time.

Traditional Estate Fencing is supplied in mild steel and can be installed to follow the contours of the ground creating beautiful sweeping curves and seamless undulations that create waves that animate the scene at eye level.

Associated with country parks, rural estates, paddocks, horse and livestock barriers, new build projects and private homes. Just about any property can add the splendour and magnificence that estate fencing provides.

Installed on-site using the same traditional techniques from a bygone era, being fully-welded creating a strong long-lasting fence, with no weak joints. Painted on-site using compressed air spray guns, giving a smooth durable hard wearing finish.

All fences receive a two-coat paint finish. We use a very high zinc-based primer, followed by a high zinc based topcoat, designed to be highly rust-resistant and give a very tough finish.

We also offer refurbishment and repair, with repaints to existing parkland estate gates, fencing and vertical railings, bringing them back to their former glory. Sections of steel can be cut and replaced, repairing damaged sections of a fence from falling trees, vehicles, farm machinery, livestock and alike.

Repaints are dependant on the condition of the existing fence and advise will be given during a site visit as to what can be achieved.

Wooden Fencing

We select our suppliers on the basis that their timber is sourced from well-managed forests, with minimal environmental impact.
We offer a wide range of wooden fencing that can transform your garden to provide secure boundaries that are aesthetically pleasing and secure
We will advise you on the most appropriate fence type and style for your garden as well as explaining the installation process that will be used to provide long-lasting fencing that will prevent the ingress of rot over many years.

We will advise you on the most suitable solution based on a number of factors and will offer you the most cost-effective method from new fencing to repair.

To mark rear garden boundaries, solid timber fencing, such as close-board or lap panel, is best. Closeboard, also known as feather edge, is composed of vertical feather-edged boards fitted to a sturdy frame of posts and horizontal rails, while lap fencing, also known as waney or overlap fencing, is made from waney-edge boards that are partially overlapped and fitted horizontally onto a timber frame.

Each has its own benefits: close-board garden fencing is stronger and more weather-resistant, making it better suited to exposed sites. It can be bought as individual panels, or feather edge boards can be purchased separately and fitted to a frame, allowing for an uninterrupted stretch of fence. Meanwhile, lap fencing generally only comes in panel form and is generally not as robust as close-board fencing.

If you want to screen off different areas within your garden, then strength and privacy won’t be as paramount, and you can afford to use a fence design that is less robust. Traditional square or lattice trellising is a good choice for zoning, particularly for sectioning off a separate sanctuary area without blocking out sunlight. What’s more, it’s great for growing climbing plants against to create a living wall. Alternatively, slatted screening can be used as a garden fence for a more contemporary backdrop.

We also supply and fit decking using only concrete support spurs for longevity and strength.

Depending on the garden, terrace or rooftop we can provide and install the most suitable timber decking to fit the surroundings, preference and budget. Timber decking offers a warm natural feel to any residential property or commercial premises.

We offer a decking board replacement service (Re-deck) using only the highest quality timber. During this process, the opportunity to survey and repair any structural imperfections is undertaken to ensure the safety and longevity of your decked areas.

Picket fence 4

Picket Fencing

Installed using a horizontal top and bottom rail attached to fence posts concreted into the ground using post savers. Evenly-spaced boards are affixed vertically to the rails. These boards with pointed tops are called "pickets" for their resemblance to the pointed stakes historically used by infantry to repel cavalry.

Vertical Railings

When a long-lasting, solid boundary fence is required, choose Vertical railings. Ranging in height from 400mm panels to fill brick pillars to 2000mm and are available in a choice of different styles. The railings are supplied to order. Round bar verticals are spaced with a maximum gap of 100mm to meet current safety regulations.
